Uh Oh Here We Go Pt 2

The first first twenty seconds of this video lead me to ask this question. In the words of Vizzini the Scicilian (Learn About it!)
“Am I going MAD, or did the word “think” escape your lips?”
O.k. I was raised in the Church and I believe that as people and reflections of God, Allah, Buddha, Krishna, or what ever you call your source. That being said, listening to Pastor Driscoll really gives me pause. This stuff sounds like the stuff from fairy tales. There I said it!! I SAID IT! FAIRY TALES!! Now I am sure that I will hear it from my hardcore Christian friends reading this blog. However, I don’t think that his definition of God and what it means to be in the flow of source or in communion with God! ,If that is what you believe, is logical. And if you have to throw away logic to believe…. Houston We Have A Problem!
He says and I quote:
- For there to be virtue there must be the possibility of Vice?
- God didn’t create evil?
- God didn’t create injustice or tyranny or evil?
- UMMM WHATTTT!
IF he was there when all of this creation he talks about was going on that would be on thing , but this delusional rant is what really concerns me. The concern is that people take this crap as truth. How the heck does he have knowledge of God did and didn’t create. I love that when asked the question he goes into some really strange response that does not answer the question. Take a look.
Question:
Correspondent Dan Harris: So he can create us , and he create the devil and we can engage in evil but he didn’t create evil.
Pastor Driscoll: No initially, according to the teaching of the Bible. Satan was an angel. Angels are perfectly good. Those that didn’t rebel the bible says that they honor god and help us and they are spirit beings that assist in Gods purposes on the earth. So Satan started as one of those and then went astray and so he walked away form gods intention for him He’s a Rebel.
Annnnnnd no need to answer the question. So there are a lot of things wrong with this comment but I will leave it up to you to discuss amongst yourselves, because I could truly be here all day. If God has given us free will then what is all of this talk of Gods purpose or intention for our lives?
Okay blood boiling which means that my Pain Body ,as Eckhart Tolle says, is waking up. So I will wrap it up but before I go I have to touch on the ramble that was the tipping point. To the question “How do you know that God is a He.”
The pastor says “Jesus! He is kind of a big thing. ” What?!? Because there was a Jesus God is a he? Wow! It is this kind of nonsensical nonsense that leads to some amazingly stupid things. Like umm All Muslims are Terrorist or African Americans are less than other people because the bible says that it is o.k. to have slaves or (you fill in the blank.) Signing off to cool down.

I’m Back and I want to apologize to all of you who wanted to see part three. But my beautiful wife brought to my attention that by talking about this that I was giving it more energy. So this will be the last topic on this subject. Lets get back to manifesting positive things.
