Creative Mind and Success by Earnest Holmes-Book Review
After much thought and conversation/meditation I decided to write bi-weekly on the book Creative Mind and Success. We will go section by section and discuss the sections as we go. I hope that you will follow along in your copy and add any thoughts that you might have on the book as we work through this amazing work by Earnest Holmes.
Part 1 Section 1
An Inquiry Into The Truth
What an appropriate title for the opening section of this book. Let me start by saying that this is an amazing book. This book is a must have for anyone looking to learn how to use the law of attraction. The great thing about the universal law of attraction is that once you understand how to monitor your thoughts and your energy you will attract all of the things that you truly desire.
Having said that as a reader I felt that this section for me was a little too riddle-filled. I love Ernest Holmes work and I am very aware that he was probably writing in the style of the time. However, for me I found that the young Earnest Holmes was writing for writing sake during this section and I felt as if he took four paragraphs to say what could have been said in one maybe two.
To summarize in a very layman-esk sort of way: All is life and life is conscious of itself. Life is all that there is. The things we see are real and not illusions. (As some might say or have you believe). We are experiences different levels of consciousness. You are living in a world of reality. However, as you raise your consciousness you will understand how unpleasant realities may be avoided.
Knowing the rest of this work, I would encourage you to read on. You will not be disappointed. This is a must have in your spiritual growth book collection! Let me know your thoughts.
