Does Science of Mind Leave Room For RELIGION?

So I would really appreciate some clarity on this because this has been working me over for the last month. I mean how can one be God and not be God? How can one use the same power as God, or say that God lives in me and be separate from God? Peace and Blessings Troy

You know I have been slowing on my blogging because I have been having some personal growing experiences with this Law of Attraction/Science of Mind stuff. I don’t think you can read or listen to the authors of Science of Mind, Self Growth or the Law of Attraction without growing. Which leads to the topic of this blog entry. Does all of this stuff leave room for RELIGION? I mean think about it if Jesus says

John 14:10
Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves. 12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

So Lets Break it on down.

Don’t you believe that I(Jesus) am in the Father(Source Energy, Allah,Whatever You call God/ By the way I don’t think she/he cares what you call her/him), and that the Father(Source Energy, God, Allah) is in me(Jesus)?

The words I say to you are not just my own( I am speaking from source not from this human body. Channeling if you will. However there is a little bit of both coming out here.). Rather, it is the Father (Source Energy) , living in me, who is doing his work.

Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me(Source energy is and I are one.) ; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me(God, Source energy, not Jesus the teacher, but source energy. Remember he/Jesus just said that I am not saying this, source energy is saying this!) will do what I (Source Energy) have been doing. He(or She) will do even greater things than these, because I (Jesus) am going to the Father.

And I (Jesus in connection with source energy) will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

You may ask me (Source Energy) for anything in my name, and I will do it.

To me it is almost as if the two (Jesus and Source Energy) are so intertwined that they are speaking at the same time. So if you believe that you can do much greater things than Jesus did then aren’t you also connected to Source/God/Allah? Which would then make you just as much God as Jesus or Buddha or Mohamed?

If it is done unto you as you believe doesn’t that give power to the idea that you are creating as God creates. Which would not be a stretch if you believed that you and God are one. Right?

Matthew 8:13 And Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed.”
Matthew 9:22 But Jesus turning and seeing her said, “Daughter, take courage; your faith has made you well.”
Matthew 9:29 Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.”

So if all of this is true. Then why would you worship anything outside of yourself? Why would you not just commune and strengthen your connection with source energy. Period. Why would you say or give power to some other being that is using the same power that you use every day? Granted they may have been masters at using this energy, and understanding the law, but could that be because they believed that they were one with source and you don’t?

I mean do you believe that your parents have a connection with eating or dressing oneself? After all they were the masters of this before they taught you how to do it. I know that this is a little out there but the obvious answer is no. So why do we as a society worship the teacher. Why don’t we thank the teacher and learn how to put on our own clothes through there teachings.

Thoughts,

Troy

Actually, you’re right. Once people realize that they are TRULY one with source then they will start to look within for the answers. If you were raised that way it would be natural for you. If you were raised as the Dalai Lama (sp?) it would be second nature. That is why you will hear so many say that they are grateful instead of saying “Thank you, God.” Because they are acknowledging that God is not outside of themselves but is in them – is one with them. It’s kind of like the saying that one drop of the ocean has everything the ocean has but is a microcosm of the ocean. Each drop is just as much of the ocean as the combination of the drops is the ocean. You do not need to look outside of yourself to find God. It’s nice to have a “religion” to go to that reinforces your divinity when you may have doubt. And when you believe and know who you really are the things that you do may amaze others , but you’ll know that it is the Father working through you!

    Mwah,
