Like many people who seek a deeper understanding of the Law of Attraction you fall in love with your new understanding of how life on this planet works. You play games with the law of attraction and to your initial amazement it works. Then you become an attraction guru. You set goals and you reach them with ease you attract money and health and prosperity to you and your family and life is good. No let me rephrase that life is great!
You find yourself in conversations where you have to play down your happiness and success. Your conversation goes something like this:
You: “Hey Chantelle how are things going with you?”
Chantelle: “Well I guess I am alright, I mean business is tough and this economy… well everybody is suffering in this economy I’m just glad I’ve got a job, and my son Yusef is having a little trouble in school, but at least we are healthy ya know. How about you?”
The Truth: Your business is growing, your job is amazing, heck you probably just got a raise all of this in the same “economy” that everyone else is dreading. Your children are thriving at school and you are ecstatic with life. But instead of saying that you say…
You: “Oh everything is o.k. I guess. Its pretty tough out there ,but we are getting by.”
And without even knowing it the die has been cast. In an effort to fit in and not make your friend feel bad you just spoke a struggling and less than prosperous existence into your reality. Not the plan you had in mind ,but nevertheless it has become the plan because you spoke this new reality and called it to yourself using one of the most powerful manifesting tools known to humans. You used your words. Then when everything takes a turn for the worse you begin to think “I wonder why I attracted that into my life?” The downward spiral begins and all the while you continue to ask “Why am I attracting this?” It is so funny to hear people who are learning about the law of attraction, because at some point you will find that they go to the “Why am I attracting this to me.” phase. We will talk about that later. Now back to my point.
All of your thoughts and words have power. All of them! Remember that! So what do you do in these situations? I’ll tell you in a minute….
